Tacoboy

The scope of the project was the renovation of an abandoned block building into a trendy downtown Mexican restaurant while incorporating a sustainable design approach. The dinning area is located in the existing structure in order to utilize the character of the old building. The kitchen addition on the rear of the lot and rebar living wall create the boundaries of the courtyard dinning area. When possible found or reclaimed materials were used for environmental reasons as well as produce the atmosphere the clients desired. The green roof and water collection components reduce water runoff and use.
